Best Wishes To You
*Our last day was filled with fun, friendships, and memories. We spent part of the morning rotating through stations along with Mrs. Bohl’s K class. We played the card game War, solved number problems with number bingo, and practiced writing sight words in shaving cream! We took a surprise walk to “What’s the Scoop” where I treated the children to an ice cream cone. Later in the day, the children helped me clean up the classroom and they packed up their supplies to take home for summer activities. It was a wonderful way to end another wonderful year. I have truly felt it an honor and a privilege to teach your children this year.
*Report cards will be mailed at the end of the week.
*Please check out this attachment for summer ideas: summer activites
*On another note, it is with mixed emotions that I share this news with you. After much prayer and soul searching, I’ve decided that this will be my last year at Georgetown. Next year I will be teaching kindergarten at South Elementary. I am very sad to leave my former students and families that I’ve established relationships with here, but feel it’s time for me to use my passion, abillities, and skills to serve a different school community. Please know that it has been an honor and a privilege to teach your children. The support you gave not only to your child, but also to me was invaluable. I will miss each of the children deeply, but cherish each smiling face and varying personality. Priscilla Veil said, “We have to reach their hearts before we teach their minds.” I hope and pray that I have reached many hearts . . . for they have left a lasting imprint on mine.

Placement Forms for Next Year
Dear Kindergarten Parents,
I know that many of you completed the online class placement form for your child. Your child’s teacher has been encouraging you to complete this via the blog and myself, via the school blog.
Due to a server error all the forms for K students moving to first grade are now unreadable. I was in the middle of sorting these for placement meetings when this occurred.
The fortunate side of things is that I accomplished exporting grades 2-5…however not the forms that were completed by you!
I would like to ask you to complete the form for me again. I know how busy you are, but the information you share about your child is invaluable to us.
I will be meeting with the K teachers for placements in first grade class next week.
The link to the survey is as follows: CLASS PLACEMENT FORM FOR GRADE 1
Again, thank you for your help with this! Mrs. Reagan
